Datona Couples League

If you are looking for a fun night out with that special person in your life, Consider our Couples Club, which is held every other Friday beginning May 14th. Join us for golf, food, drink and entertainment, or just come in to sing a few songs and have some cocktails. Check in is at 5:30 and golf begins at 6:00. We start 2 couples out on holes 1 thru 9 and have a shotgun start. We will have a different event each night. Sign up only for the Fridays you want to play. This is a no pressure night of golf , create your own foursome or we’ll create one for you. The cost is $50.00 for golf, 2 drink tickets, dinner, prizes, entertainment & a lot of fun. If you would like to ride it will cost you a little more. If you have any questions call us or check out our website at daytonagolfclub.com.

Spring is just around the corner and the 2010 golf season is fast approaching. So, let’s get ready for another exciting and fun-filled year at Daytona Golf Club. We always welcome newcomers interested in joining the league. Our Saturday morning 18-hole women’s league is a fun way to meet women with similar interests.

We have a very flexible league with signup play for the coming week(s) you want to play. It is in a non-threatening format, yet a challenging league for all levels of ability. An additional form is enclosed to pass along to friends, family, co-workers, etc. Remember, Daytona provides the ladies league with prime Saturday morning tee times which free up the rest of the day for other activities.

LEAGUE INFORMATION
2010 Spring Meeting: Saturday, April 24th, 9:00 AM at Daytona. League officers and events committee members will meet 30 minutes prior to the Spring Meeting to discuss league business. League Play: Begins May 1 and ends October 2
League Dues: $65 by April 2, 2010 to: Jane Angell 12342 Buckthorn Trail Rogers, MN 55374

Breakdown of Dues: Individual Handicap Fee = $22
If you are in another league at Daytona, deduct the handicap fee from your dues and pay it through the Saturday Ladies League. If it has been already paid to another league, please do not send the $22 fee to this league, just write on this slip what other Daytona league it is and we will try and make the adjustment. If you have paid for a USGA Handicap at another course, you must also pay for one at Daytona and the USGA will refund a portion of that fee at the end of the season if you write them requesting a refund.

Event/Chit Fund = $43
All of this money goes back into the league. Chits are awarded each week unless there is a special event. Chits have value in that they can be redeemed for anything at Daytona except green fees (i.e. shoes, shirts, food, beverage, etc.). Additional benefits in being a league member will be announced at the Spring Meeting on April 24.

A weekly sign up sheet (or a call to the clubhouse to be put on the sign up sheet) will be available and is encouraged to be used by members as this determines the number of tee times that need to be reserved and helps the events committee plan the event for that Saturday. The same goes for a person’s inability to play--please call the clubhouse and have your name taken off the sheet. Call the clubhouse at (763) 427-6110 for weekly tee times.
